Days to resume working on current application after receiving requested docs?

Hello Everyone,

Was curious to know, what is the average duration for CIC to resume working on current applications once they receive requested documents?

I was expecting PPR but recently received additional document request, Today I have forwarded all requested documents to CIC, now wondering how many days required to process my application. If its takes few more weeks or Months I am considering to apply for BOWP as my present workpermit is getting expired in May,2014.

Any suggestions would be helpful..!

Can you please share your timeline with us and also what additional documents required by CIC if convenient ?

Additional documents were, evidence of our marriage documents such as wedding pictures,email and phone conversations etc, check my previous topic.

However my question was to find number of days required to process the application.

There's no average available. It could be days, weeks or even a couple a months.

Gone trough couple of topics in this forum.Released one thing, during present situation CIC processing the files pretty quickly, especial people who applied CEC application recently, most of them received AOR within 30/40 days.

Considering above I would go for 40 days, However not sure if same applicable even for additional document request.

My ecas status is "Medical has been received", looks like my application gone through all hurdles.
