I want to put my child in daycare before I return to work.

1.what sources should I using to find daycare for e.g google
2. Anybody have experience with home daycare, is it safe.
3. Anybody know any daycare in Pickering where we have slots open for one year old since august

Join a Facebook group for Pickering Moms or if there is a Pickering Daycare group.
1. Use google and search for daycares. Contact them and get child on waiting lists. Most have waiting lists.
2. Ask for references and do a site visit.
3. No.

Hi agree with 2 points naturgrl .
3-But my self-experience facing daycare has some common disadvantages.
1- Attending a childcare facility often results in illness
2-waiting lists are common
3 there's less individual attention
4- childcare facilities often face high staff turnover which can make it difficult for children to from healthy attachments
