Hi,

I and my wife reside in India. We submitted our PR application and received AOR on 6th December 2018.

My wife is not an Indian citizen and therefore obtained a PCC from the Foreigners Registration Office (FRRO).

The date of issuance on her PCC is 10th October 2018. However, it covers the period of her stay only up to 1st October 2018.

Will this be a problem because the date of issuance (10th October) is different from end date of coverage (1st October)? Can they reject saying the last 9 days are not covered?

This happened because we submitted our PCC application on the 1st and requested it for her entire stay, i. e. up to the date of application. But they take time to process it and issued it only on the 10th.

Should I raise a CSE explaining this discrepancy?

As long as it's issued within 6 months, it's fine.
Yes, it was issued within 6 months of the AOR.

It's just that the end date of the coverage is 9 days before the date of issue. But this is fine as long as both dates are within six months, correct?
