Hello Guys,

I just received a interview date for Oct 26th 2006, my file was transfered to LA from Buffalo god knows when.
I applied for PR Feb 2005, and in last days of April 2005 I got married. Due to bad circumstances my marriage did'nt work out , and I filed for divorce in August 2005. Can that be a negetive point on my application?
Since when I applied I was single, and could not add my spouse to my application as we were having problems which resulted in Divorce, but I will still take my marriage and divorce certificate at the time of Interview.
Hope all works out!

You should notify Immigration of any changes within marital status and contact information to avoid any delay.

Always check the dates.....this was a very old post at the top. There is a happily ever after ending and if you check Ozzie's last post in February 2011 it reads:
Good News.

I just got an email asking for PASSPORT for Visa Issuance. I emailed Buffalo on Sunday, that my e-cas status has changed to
DECISION MADE since December 22nd, 2010.

I finally receive an email today I'm so glad its over.

My wife is in Canada with me she will fly to Buffalo herself and get the visa stamped.
