Can someone help me?

I will outline my position - my wife is the primary applicant in our case and her date of birth is 5th Jan 1988. I am just anxious to know that upon her next birthday (Jan'2017), will our score dip as she would complete her 29th year and will be running 30th? This concept of scores according to age is a bit confusing so a little help to clarify would be great!

When you are born, you are 0. The following year, you turn 1.
So in 2017, your wife will turn 29.
So your CRS wouldn't drop until 2018.
