I think that damascus office is very slow in processing FSW1.
So,Please share your application status here, to finds out that what is going on.

Dear Azar,
I have the same condition as you have. My second AOR is dated Feb 1st but no changes from Damascus visa office. Please let me know if you have any news. By the way I am from Iran too.
How long should we wait? I am not able to find any information in this forum or others. No news from people applied before us.

It's about 2 weeks now that Applicant relating to Damascus VO are hearing good news from CIO (Pre 26th Jun Applicants). It was not moving on for about 3 months.

No chnages as well, full documents received by Damascus VO since April 5th 2010 and nothing happended after that!!!

not heard from them really since August 2006, other than they told me I am in a queue. 4 years of queueing. I didn't know lines were so respected here in the Middle East everytime I go to pay for something or to the bank everyone pushes to get before the rest.

I have applied for federal skilled worker in august 2009 and send my documents to Damascus in February 2010
.and haven't received anything yet. I have seen in cic.gc.ca web site that it takes about 9 months to be processed but in syria visa office web site
it is written they are processing application submitted on february 2009 which means it takes about 22 months.
does anybody know which one is correct?
