My dad's visiting visa got rejected once last year because of a missing additional document.
I didn't get any email notification, that's why I missed it...
I reapplied in December 2021, my dad got the biometrics letter and got it done in January 2022. Since then, there's no update on his application. I submitted a web form and got this answer back:

We have verified the information you provided and want to thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the delay in answering your enquiry.
We would like to confirm that the information found in your online account is the most up-to-date, so no additional information can be provided by the Client Support Centre agents.
"
Is anything I can do to get additional information on his application? Is 9 months normal for a simple visiting visa application?
He already missed my wedding because of this... I really hope he doesn't miss anything else in the future.
