Hi
Me, my spouse and infant son applied for nov 15th pool. It looks like my profile didn't get picked since our score was too low i.e. 461. What should we do? Withdraw and reapply or wait? Do you think the scores would go any lower than 470(Nov cut off)?

Also regarding medical checkups- should we wait till we get picked? i took ielts in sept 2018, wes evaluation also in sept 2018. I cannot afford to retake ielts and would like to apply asap. wondering if the timing can mess up everything and cause me to retake the ielts again?

Regarding the timing, which of these below expire within a short time frame and need to be done at the end after getting an ita?

1. medical checkups - I believe the exp. dt is 1 year after getting it done. Can I go without ita and just with a profile being created? Will the hospital do the checkup or ask me to come back and bring the ita ## since i do not have an ita yet?
2. Biometrics- this is taking me to a new website and asking ircc number (13 digits) which i dont have since i don't have ita. Should i wait till i get ita to get this done?
3. Fbi police clearance - when does this expire?

Thanks for your help.

No need to withdraw the profile. You will remain in the pool for 1 year until you receive invitation to apply. With 461 it may take some (most recent cutoff is 472).

IELTS is valid for 2 years and ECA for 5 years, as long as you get ITA before September 2020, you will be fine.

1. No need to do medical exam before getting ITA. But you can if you want. (I would recommend waiting)
2. They will ask for biometrics later, don't do it until then.
3. If US is your current country of residence, then the FBI PCC must have been issued within 6 months of the application date. If you live outside US, then the PCC must have been issued after you left the US; it does not expire in that case.
