Current FBI Clearance Expiration

Why does this info seem so hard to find on CIC Website?? Lol... Anyway... Does anyone know, for sure, for sure how long the FBI Clearance is good for for Outland Spousal Application? I know it was 3 months, but I thought I heard a couple months ago they had changed it to 6 months... What is it, currently? (And where the heck is this info, officially)?

"For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply."

So, this means, if the certificate was issued August 5th, 2016, we are good until February 5th, 2017, yes? So, that means, it's definitely not the 3 month thing, as of now, correct?

That was my interpretation of that. I started getting nervous because I'd done mine in June and then the application was held up by the marriage certificate taking forever.
