It was a brown envelope, with the COPR included. That was it.

Inside my wife's package was her COPR, instructions on what to do with it, her passport and the returned contents of our application.

So lets say...my husbands passport was kept at the time of interview...and if he is approved...they will send him his acceptance package?...and this is what he will receive if the decision goes in our favor?

Ours had the COPR, husband's passport and all our photos we sent with the application.

Did you all get a "decision made" before you received your acceptance package?

No. My wife's "Decision Made" came about a week after she was holding her passport and COPR in her hands. I don't know if our case is unique or not.

Well I'm hoping that's how my situation works out...it just sucks waiting and wondering which way the decision is going to go AFTER an interview...so now we wait....some more.....lol

If they requested the passport after the interview then the decision has already been made. They are most likely finishing off the details and preparing the counterfoil.

Yes, then after he landed, back to in process until his PR card arrived.

Well they didn't really request the passport...they just kept it after the interview...I'm hoping they did that for a good reason and everything is in order.
