Greetings everyone, thank you for all your help from my previous post that helped me do the paperwork for my wife. It was sent 2 weeks ago and im happy that it was done and neatly organized!

My next question is about my wife's situation. She's currently under a student visa in canada studying but at the same time she is training at a store in downtown. I sent in the documents but my lawyer told me that my wife could be sent back to vietnam if she gets caught working under a study permit. right now im scared that she might get sent back to vietnam since i handed in the documents for permenant residence, they'll do some investigation. She's not actually working she is just getting lessons, but she is still "in" a store, somewhat "working". should i tell her to stop attending those lessons?

You do not give any information on what the "lessons" are but off campus work permits are easily attainable by students provided they are eligible. Check the CIC guides for students to see if your wife is eligible. If so, then apply. In the mean time it sounds like she is working without authorization so she should stop. If the "lessons" are required for her studies then she needs to get an internship work permit.
