I wondered if anybody knows which information to put in the bottom of the CSQ credit card payment form?

The form says to put the information of the "principal applicant" there.
For the CSQ, would this be the sponsor or the sponsored person?

The guide only says this, and I quote: "The principal applicant is the person who submits the undertaking application", so I assume they mean the sponsor by this?

Yes its the sponsor who submit the undertaking application. In my case, i left it blank since i'm the cardholder.

Ah okay,

So since I am also the cardholder & the sponsored person, we should put my wife's name there since she is the sponsor?

USUALLY the principal applicant is the sponsored person applying for the CSQ, not the person paying. The person signing the Undertaking is also listed so there shouldn't be confusion on who's who. However, if you reverse the names based on who's credit card it is MAY cause confusion. Since the principal applicant in the CIC application is the person being sponsored, regardless of who pays.

This is a quote from the CSQ Sponsor's guide page 19:-
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/sponsorship/guide-sponsor.pdf

"Section – Information about the principal applicant (the principal applicant is the person who submits the undertaking application)"

So for the CSQ, the principal applicant is NOT the sponsored person...

Thanks, my thoughts as well.

But that also is not who paying either. The sponsor can pay or the sponsored person can pay but that doesn't change who the principal applicant is. But thank you, I stand corrected ;) . However, if the paper is written out with who's credit card it is as the principal applicant and it's the sponsored person, it can cause problems. But those instructions from the link are fairly clear.
