Hello Everyone,

I have only one question in context of this topic;

"Does a security/CSIS interview mostly leads to Permanent Residence application Rejection on security grounds?"

Personally i been through CSIS interview because they had suspicions on me for being some sort of computer hacker. I honestly answered their each question and denied their allegations. Since then i have no response from them apart from that my file has been moved to Local office-Scarborough. I heard mostly CPC-V only transfers file to local office after CSIS interview if they have any suspected grounds for security inadmissibility.

I would welcome everyone, who has gone through security interviews and successfully obtained their landed status, to share their experiences with us.

I would also request "PMM" to shed light over this concerned topic. Thank You.

Not necessarily. CSIS will dig deep into your background before making a recommendation to CIC, whether you are a security risk or not. I suggest you order your GCMS notes, although any information from CSIS will not appear on them (information received from a 3rd party) but it will give you an idea where CIC is heading.

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I really appreciate your support. Today i received my GCMS notes and according to it my file was waiting for my criminal case outcome for which i successfully got acquitted and now they are reviewing the file. My security and criminal checks haven't been passed yet but medical was passed and expired for which CIC sought extension automatically. I hope everything will go good.
