CSE response but no visible application update

Does anyone know if CSE related account activity is done in the "background" of an application? More specifically, I recently added a family member to my application but when reviewing personal details in my application did not notice this update reflected in the information previously transmitted to CIC.

I'm under the assumption the information and documents are added but not visible.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hello,

When did you send your CSE ?
Did you receive a notification saying that your additional document has been attached to your application ? If so, you are good.
If no, you should call CIC and ask them about it.

Yes, I did received confirmation from IRCC, but since I was unable to visibly see changes was curious if anyone knew.

Did the confirmation say that it was attached to your file?

If yes, then that is all they will tell you about it, as far as I know, and they will just continue to process your application, inclduing the additional information you provided through the CSE.

I dont think you can expect any additional notifications regarding your CSE.

You would most definitely see no changes in your application in response to CSE. Your only way of knowing it was attached is the email response they send you within 30 days, or if you don't get that, emailing or calling your VO to inquire.

I added a family member too, got a response, but their status is still listed as unaccompanying. Is this what you have too?
