CSE for Renewal of Passport

Dear Friends,

My spouse's passport had been renewed and she has now have a passport with new date of expiration.
The passport that was submitted a few months ago for permanent resident application will expire this year.

I would like to verify if a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) needs to be raised to update the passport details while the review and evaluation is ongoing?
