Hi Folks,

I have a simple query regarding CRS points for FSW. I had achieved a diploma in IT from Canada and then a degree from UK via distance learning program. The degree had been assessed by WES and outcomes the ECA report equivalent to four years of degree education of Canada.

My concern is that the university in UK had accepted all my credits (from dipolma) for the degree program which I completed in 1.5 years. Will the immigration office count "the four years of education" written in ECA report include the diploma in their assessment or will they look at the diploma separately. This leads to my ultimate simple question.

If I provide both the diploma (ECA not required as it is from Canada) and ECA report (mentioning four years of degree education equivalent in Canada), will I get 119 points in education factor? And 50 points in Skill transferability factors (Education), with CLB 9?

Appreciated your guidance.

No.
Even if they are counted separately, to qualify for "Two or more..." your second credential must be postgraduate.
