CRS – Human Capital – Canadian Work Experience and
CRS – Spouse – Canadian Work Experience ...

Do they count normal work experience (not skilled) over a year, for me or for my spouse?

Do they count work experience you did with open work permit?
(If yes, how do you list in your profile? There are 3 options related to work permit required, no work permit or LMO required and so on)

Thanks

Yes that does count, If you apply under experience working class. I applied under that and so far all went well. You do at least need a LMO or job offer though to apply and make the process a lot easier

I applied under FSWP and they awarded me zero points for Canadian work exp (same to my my wife that was on my profile).

There is something broken then...

I don't know then, because I got like 600 points just because I got a extended job offer with a LMO.

Check your NOC code or check you entered the details correctly. Sometimes its the smallest thing which causes the system to not function correctly.

I did man... technically I got invited, then they discarded me because I was not working for that employer anymore for unfair treatment.

I was trying to understand if without the job offer points I was able to qualify anyways, so I read again my invitation and there was zero points awarded for my wife and I on the canadian work experience...

Funny, she is still working with the open work permit I ga

So in the end, is anybody able to tell me for sure, if we were supposed to get any points for Canadian work experience?

I worked 2 years in the same store, just few months with a different NOC
my wife worked over 3 years, several positions, all legal jobs

we both score 0 points for CWE in my old invitation to apply, how comes?

I knew that skilled jobs gives you the chance to apply,
but normal jobs should at least give "few points" to my wife or to me?

Do you have any reference or link for this? Each one is stating something different. I cannot find in CIC where they say that normal jobs do not count for CRS - Canadian Work Experience for main applicant or for spouse.

My point is, if you are right and they do not count, why asking so many details, reference letters and paystub if in the end they do not count at all?

Sorry to hear about all the problems. But no, express entry clearly states that it is for "skilled workers." Points for you or your spouse are only for skilled work.

"only skilled work" means the same thing is "not unskilled work."

The whole point of express entry was to try and automate some steps for faster processing. But the system isn't going to think for you. If you list a position, the system will ask you to document it. Can the system be improved? Certainly. Can it be made 100% error-proof? Probably not. So you are told upfront that it is still your responsibility to make sure you are eligible before you apply...

That does not sound so clear to me... Nor to my buddies or people I got help from.

Yes, EE gives skilled workers the chance to apply, but as human capital does not exclude that other jobs can grant you some additional points (not 600 of course).

There was no point during the form I was filling that states to list ONLY skilled work experience you had...

After all, why asking me reference and other evidences for experiences that will not give me any points?
