CRS after June

Hey folks,

As you may already know, there seem to be extra points granted to French speakers and those who have siblings in Canada after June.
I expect the CRS cutline will increase, but not sure how high.
I will be 450 by next April, do you guys think it will be higher than that? if so, what score range do you guys expect?

I personally believe it will go up, in the pre 2017 range 475-700 range, I dont have any explanation why I think so

If they want less than 1000 ITA's a month again then sure that range will happen.

Even with those additional points 475 is a huge score to get, let alone above that.

450 at any point is going to be a solid ITA for the foresee able future.

I see a rise in CRS as Francophones and people with Canadian siblings will get bumped up.

I also think it they will go back to less ITA a month. 7000 a month is just huge jump from last year and it will reach the yearly quota shortly (or it has already reached?)

this is the first full year for express entry (in terms of immigrant quota pov). until last year, only a part of federal and provincial quoya was being met by EE.
This year all of federal and a good portion of provincial quota has to be met via EE.

to meet those numbers, they have to conduct large draws.

Deserving candidates should be selected based on their education, skills, work ex, etc. and not based on "having siblings in Canada".

I'm french and I can tell you for sure that you are over estimating french speakers impact. only 2% of the pool has french as their first language.

"In 2015, 2% of invited candidates were French-speaking, though they only represented 1% of candidates in the Express Entry pool. While these percentages appear small, the department is currently exploring ways to increase the amount of French-speaking candidates interested in applying to come to Canada through Express Entry."

The 15/30 points is one of the solutions they prodive. Although I should already have 440 points without it. That means that in reality I am not lowering the score. I guess a lot of people are in the same situation.
