hello, my husband has been deported from the us, now he want to try to enter canada through the border and seek asylum, is his deportation status in the US will affect his eligilibity in canada?

Why is he being deported has he overstayed or worked illegally or anything worse ?

he is being deported because he got denied his asylum, apealed, got denied again and ordered deportation but he didn't leave.

Does he have any family living in Canada? If not, then Safe 3rd Country Agreement will prevent him from making asylum claim at the border.

And if US asylum claim was already denied, there is a high chance any future claim he'd make in Canada would also be denied on same basis.

he does not have any family in canada,, would he still be denied even if proof that returning to his home country put his life at risk? i am a US citizens and have two kids

He will not be allowed to enter Canada legally due to Safe 3rd Country Agreement. CBSA will turn him back to the USA.

Again USA and Canada share info, so if USA already denied his asylum claim then Canada may not put much weight into his claims as US has already found them not valid enough to be considered a refugee.

so if he decided to cross the border regarless of these risk, Canada turning him back to US. if they allow him in, Does he have to present his US asylum documents or what documents will be required from him to begin his case??

Again he can not enter Canada at a legal border crossing, due to Safe 3rd country agreement. CBSA will not allow him entry.

So i assume you mean he will attempt to cross illegally.

Assume that Canada will have all his US asylum claim records. He will also need to be completely honest about his failed asylum claim in US to whoever he talks to.

he will go to the US - Canada border and there he will surrender himself and seek asylum. so i guess illegal but he surrender himself

Canada will refuse him entry due to the safe third country agreement and then hand him back over to US officials.

Or worse than that, if he crosses illegally and is refused assylum (very likely), they will send him back to his home country.
