Hi,

I have applied for a Canadian PR with CSQ (Quebec acceptance of immigration) , which I received a few months ago.
I was asked to send Canadian embassy in Buffalo an RCMP certificate and about a month after requesting it, I received it by mail today.

As I had expected, the certificate indicates the incident that happened four years ago.
4 years ago in Quebec, I was arrested for VOIES DE FAIT (article 266 - assault) and PROFERER DES MENACES (article 264 - uttering threat) then I was ACQUITTE (acquitted).
(Capital words are the exact words on the certificate)
I was conditionally discharged of these charges and was never convicted.
Also on the immigration application form, I answered NO to questions asking about conviction and detainment (of course because I was not convicted nor detained). If it asked if I have ever been arrested, I would have said so.

Anyways, my question is will this have an negative impact on the outcome of PR application?

It won't affect your case however even without conviction you are expected to reveal the facts of the case.
