If CIC found criminal record for spouse for another country that was not mentioned in case, they going to reject the permanent residence for spouse or applicant or for both .

If CIC rejects the spouse either due to the criminal record or due to misrepresentation, then the entire file will be refused (both the spouse and applicant).
