Credit card payment procedure for FSW application

Hello there People,

I have sent my application today and I have filled the payment form. My payment mode is Credit card (Citibank credit card fully International enabled). I have called my bank in advance and confirmed about any possible declines and bank cleared all things up for smooth transaction.

My question is this: Will CIC charge my card or authorize the funds? Have anyone here made Credit card payment for FSW program before. This is helpful for me because, if they CHARGE my card, bill need to paid in the subsequent billing cycle. If authorization is made, no bill will be levied until the CHARGE is complete. This way I will have time to pay the actual money to the bank only if my Visa is granted.

Any info from you guys is greatly appreciated.

They will charge your card. They are not a hotel that only authorises payment till you check out.
