Again, I have now another problem. I have given my sister's credit card number(commonwealth bank, sydney). But some fraud advertisement company is taking money from it as she has given the card number and cve to the company. So she wants to change the card. But my payment to cic suppose to be done by that card. How can I change the payment system to cic now?

Again, if i am not eligible how and when will I be informed?

Hello PMM,

what is your opinion on my matter as mentioned above. 5 working days have elapsed since CIC attempted to charge my credit card and there is no second attempt as yet.

I have same concern here. CIC attempted to charge on my credit card on 19-11-14 but was unsuccessful. Until now, they didnt try to charge again. I'm losing hope now, its been 2 weeks already. Please let me know if ever they will charge on your credit card again.

Congratulation for your cc charging. Would you please tell me what was the merchant's name appeared in your SMS when CIC charged your CC.

Did you do anything in those 14days? (ie, contact CIC) or did you simply wait?

You simply wait. Dont worry CIC will try 3 times. Also there was oone person who was charged in the 2nd attempt after almost a month. So dont get stuck up on 14 days. Wait patiently and it will be done. All the best.
 
Hi All,

I have asked my brother to find out about the cc charging and he is in US ( thought it would easier for him). He said that CIC will try to charge your credit three times before they reject your application. There is no time limit between these three time. Imagine that you are person that is handling 20 files that are approved for CC charge. You go one by one and enter CC information , if it goes through your application goes in one pile and if it doesnt then it goes in other pile. Then all the declined charge file gets collected and go for second attempt and then third.

So sometimes it happens that you see that CIC attempted to charge twice in a day , sometimes twice in a week. So please dont loose hope. I will include all of you in my prayers. YOu will all get your cc charged. Please make sure that your bank knows that there will be a big transaction and it could come anytime within few weeks.

My CC was charged yesterday on the 3rd attempt! :D 3 days after the initial two failed attempts

For those of you whose initial transaction was declined, be sure to call the bank, and not just the bank customer service, be sure to call banks "Fraud prevention/protection center"
