Hello!
Okay, here are my stats:
I'm 20 years old.
I'm an American citizen.
I had a study permit valid for one year (technically still valid) because I studied there as an exchange student.
I studied in Newfoundland.
I didn't have a job, although I could've gotten one in the library or somewhere else on campus.
Because I was just an exchange student, I can't technically say I was a resident there for 8 months (even though I did live in the dorms).
Okay, here's the problem.
I loooooooved going to school in Newfoundland. I love everything about Canada. I would love to go back and study there again, but it is just barely out of my price range as I would be an out of country student and would have to pay the more expensive prices.
I am willing to work in Newfoundland. I am studying hospitality and tourism and have a lot of experience in different areas of the field.
What options do I have to become a resident so I might be able to afford going to school there more easily as well as getting a job?
Any help is appreciated,
Ant
