Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I'm a registered nurse and preparing my docs for this coming July 2012. As I read some news about the possible changes in the point system, I read that if the profession is a regulated profession in Canada I need my credentials to be assess by Canadian professional licensing body before submitting the application for Canadian permanent residency. How is it likely to be implemented? Any advice if my credentials have to assess already? ;)

To get credentials assesed there are 2 agencies in Toronto ;
http://www.cicic.ca/415/credential-assessment-services.canada
I done it for my wife last week;from Comparative Education Service (CES) University of toronto.
For regular service they charge u 250+tax(13%) and rush hour 450 + tax =508CAD.
we opted rush hour because normal would take 3-4 months as they told.When we applied thorugh rush hour next day it was mailed ;))

Hi,

I got my credentials assessed after landing in Canada. I first went for WES but they certainly are a pain. So, I got my credentials evaluated by ICAS. Also, there are some universities in Canada that have their own credential evaluations.

Best of luck!

Yes, I saw it in Foreign Credential Assessment. So does it mean that if I also want to apply in Ontario I won't go to College of Ontario but instead to Credential Assessment Service?
