CPC Ottawa - Passport processing steps

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there's a way to find out the progress of my case. I mailed my passport on 28th Dec, received in Ottawa 29th Dec.. I'm seeing posts where people share that they received an email from CPC centre and were able to find out the status of their application?. I received no such thing, should I be concerned?. I didn't inquire my lawyer's office though. Is there a way to find out?. What am I missing?.

if you sent your passport in for processing to ottawa, it can take 1-4 weeks for it to be returned. considering there was a holiday closure since you sent your passport, expect some delay.

Oh no.. I was told it'd take only 10 days. But I can see why there would be a delay..
