CPA PEP Ontario

Guys,

Does anybody here planning to take CPA Ontario? My partner and I have recently landed. We are both professional Accountants and CPA from another country. Upon assessment by CPA Ontario, they have determined that we need to do the following in order to be designated as CPA in Ontario:

> Challenge the examination of Core 1 and Core 2 modules
> Challenge the examination of two elective modules
> Capstone 1 Module
> Capstone 2 Module
> Common Final Examination (CFE)
> Practical Experience Requirement
> Course and/or program in Canadian taxation, Canadian business law, ethics and the CPA Code of Professional Conduct

I wonder if you encounter the same thing because my senior who landed a year before us, who has the same qualifications as we do, doesn't have to challenge the exams anymore. She has to do the 2 capstone modules, CFE and a course in business law only. I'm not quite sure why our requirements are different. I mind because taking the above would be quite expensive.
