Coversion from student to work visa

Hi all,

Currently I have SW-1 visa on my passport but now I am not student and I have got post graduate work permit.

My question is that should I wait for the SW-1 visa to expire and then apply to renew the visa or I should apply to change my visa from student to work category rite away?

Secondly, If I don't apply for visa renewal now Is there any chances of problem on traveling this visa? As it is student visa but now I have work permit.

1. You don't have to change it. As long as it is valid, it will allow you to apply to enter Canada.
