Hi everyone!

I wasn't sure if I should include a cover letter with our application or not and what really should be detailed in it, and if I should where should it be placed in the application?

Any thoughts would help!

Thank you

I included a table of content instead of a cover letter, and made sure that it says "Outland Application" on top along with the PA and Sponsor's name and date of birth.

Please see the link below for some ideas. Mine was not as detailed, and I didn't put packages in three different envelopes. I separated them with big paper clip and organized all documents according to the checklist. I found this extremely useful and gave me a better idea of how to organize mine.

yes agree. Best of luck. Naveed

I didn't do anything special, just short and sweet, only including what they ask for with each form's pages paperclipped together (i.e IMM 1344 1-4 ,etc ) and put them in one envelope. I didn't want to make extra work for myself, as if they wanted a cover letter or table of contents, it would have been on the checklist. Besides, their filing system either per their training or personal preference may be different than yours so they'll probably pull it all apart, rearrange it and put the extra parts off somewhere else. That's how I did it . Just my two cents.

Yeah, I did the same, blueangel, just did what they asked for. I considered adding a table of contents to the relationship evidence section, but decided they were probably smart enough to figure it out quickly. I did paperclip each section together to separate it into 3 sections, sponsor, applicant, relationship evidence. I didn't put it in an envelope, just a blue file folder and directly into a FedEx shipping box. I hope that's ok.

I Just saw the first post with paper clips for the application pages. I stapled the appication pages and sent it. would my application get returned? :'( :'(

Probably not. They'll probably just pull the staples out. Unless the officer is a mean, lazy t*** ( sorry I'm mad but I'm not rude). They shouldn't return it on those grounds but a lot's been going on in Ottawa that just boggles my mind.

I had stapled too and I got approved with no issues. So if a form had 6 pages, I stapled those together instead of keeping it loose.

Thank you Warzo & blueangel371115 Much appreciated.

Cheers,
Mahi

You're welcome. Much luck and a fast application for you.
