It's for a friend.

She got married in February to Indian national (H1b) in BC
Got copr in March.
At the time of landing Vancouver she did not disclose that she got married. So now she's being charged with misrepresentation. Court hearing in September.

Anyone with similar issues tried to overcome or know what will be the outcome?

Any suggestions ?

Are these facts correct? Did she really get married before landing and fail to disclose this fact to CIC ahead of hear landing? If these facts are correct - this is unfortunately a pretty clear case of misrepresentation. Her PR visa was issued to her when she was single and the visa was no longer valid once she got married. She was obligated to add her spouse to her application before landing.

I hope she is working with an excellent lawyer. Based on the facts you have provided, she should expect the outcome to be negative and result in the loss of her PR status (unless there's more to the story).

These are all facts not fiction lol. Nothing more to the story.
Big negligence and carelessness I would say but there's no going back.
In addition to losing status, can she expect ban as well?
Also if she were to apply again in future, what will be the chances of getting PR?

Yes, she can expect a 5 year ban for the misrepresentation.

Assuming she is given the 5 year ban, she will be able to apply for PR again once the ban is over.
