Hello friends,
I am done with my B.Com in 2009 and appeared in CA Final level Exams in this May 2012 but still waiting for results. I have completed 3 years and 6 months articleship training under Indian CA program as well.

Now I am so keen towards migrating to CANADA.
I have approached numberless consultants but still confused about the courses that are available for me.

Actually I am interested in getting prosperous job as auditor or financial adviser in reputed company in Canada. I know it is a very long-term perspective I am seeing today.

One consultant asked me to join Post graduate diploma in accounting or human resources for 1 year to firstly land there because study visas can be easily obtained.
I want to know if I can apply directly to any course related to Indian CA like CGA, or Canadian CA, and so on.
And what is the tenure of that certification.?

And please tell me if my consultant is right if I opt for PG diploma for the purpose of landing there. Do I get good job in any firm after getting PG diploma.

And is there any way, I can do MBA there which is economical. Please specify range of fee for MBA if you have any idea.

I am in great need for your answers. Please help me out of it.

Thanks

First of all, do not base judgment on consultants -- the CIC website is the most accurate one.

There's a course for what you intend to do, called SEC (Securities and Exchange). However, according to new rules, that course need not be taken inside Canada -- thus you won't be granted a visa if you apply for it. There may be other accounting courses, but that will help you get in Canada without guaranteeing a stay sufficient enough to enable you to immigrate. For instance, after arriving in Canada with a study permit (visa), you can't apply for a work permit until 6 months have passed since your date of entry. Your 1-year course seems to me insufficient nonetheless. Thus, I'd recommend you apply for a post-graduate degree, such as a Master's or PhD at a university in order to increase the chances of having premises to immigrate.

Thank you so much for such a wise suggestion. Can you please guide me through the courses available and best college or university for any PG diploma there. I have a budget for tuition fee around 10,000-13,000 Canadian Dollars. I have heard about Humber college, Toronto offering PG diploma in international business management. Is it good? And can you suggest any university offering similar course in this budget.
Please guide me.

Thanks
