Course Duration is 1 year but expected End date is in 8 months. Please help!

I received my LOA from Lambton College for Jan 17 intake for Big Data Applied Science. It is given 1 year as course duration but the expected end date is given as 1st September. This makes it a 8 month course. Which means a 8 month stay back, right? Or will I be eligible for 1 year PGWP as the course duration is 1 year? I am confused. Please help!

HI.. Dont worry if yours is a full time study with credits then you are eligible for one year PGWP
