Hi,

I am filling the form post ITA and it has requested information regarding relatives. My sister is holding a PR but is in India since April 2022. What should I mention as her country of residence ?

So she is not living in Canada and you didn’t claim points for her? If you are, how are you proving she resides in Canada.

She stayed in Canada for 3 months, received her PR card and then returned to India as she has plans to go back later. Thing is she is in India since April 2022 but holds a PR. So, yes I have claimed points for her PR as she has one. But in these circumstances what should I mention as her country of residence ?

If you have claimed points for her, I believe you need to provide evidence that your sister lives in Canada. The proof includes utilities bills or something that shows that she has a valid residence in Canada. If she lives in India, it will be a challenge for you to provide that information.

You can’t claim points for her as her country of residence is India.
