Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I know it's asking a lot, but here's the situation.

My husband has a cousin in Pakistan in his early twenties. He lives off his family's money-they are pretty well off. He's a nice kid, average intelligence. Never did anything wrong, but not very ambitious in his present situation, where he doesn't have to do anything. His parents are desperate to send him overseas so he can learn something and make something of himself. He has no special talents, no advanced degree. I asked my husband what kind of high school diploma he has, my husband is not sure if he has one or not.

I was wondering if there is any chance to find a school for him so he can learn a trade or gain some business skills, as his father would probably be able to set him up in a business in the future if he showed some aptitude.

If he does not have a high school diploma, I wonder if there are programs that would accept him, and I wonder if it is possible to him to first work towards that on the internet, as I know some people do.

I promised my husband I would look around and try to find something for him. His parents are lovely people and I would like to help them. Please do not flame me, I don't know what is possible and I just want to ask the opinion of this forum before I start running around and trying to find a placement for him.

Thanks,
Auntie
