Hello,
In case if someone commit mistake in generic application form -IMM008 for FSW-2014 application, is it possible to send the corrected form to replace the old form. Will CIC consider or I have to wait till they reject application and send the file( forms+documents) back??

As per my understanding, CIC will take 2 months to send the file back if there is any error. My worry is CAP!!

Kindly advice

Issue Summary:
I have confusion on residency dates for myself and my family which I chose in my generic application form.
In UAE, every one is on Work residency Visa. I entered UAE for the first time in the year 2008.
last year, I changed my Job; Residency was cancelled and I have to leave country(exit) and return on new resident worker Visa.Whole process took about 10 days(exit and entry), but my family did not exit as they were on my sponsorship(dependent), and as per law they don't have to exit.
After my Visa stamp, family visa was re-stamped.
Confusion: In my application, under residency column(current country of residence pt 13, I chose the date of current worker residency date as stamped on my passport till expiry date i.e. 2016( from and to- residency permit is valid for 3 years). But for my family I chose the date from 2008 till 2016 as they did not leave the country.

Is this the correct way or I was suppose to choose the same date as of new resident Visa?

I am confused as family never exit, it was just me who did exit and re-entered UAE..

Please advice.

Can Any one help???

This doesn't sound like a major problem. You cannot send another form and expect them to replace it. Don't worry, I feel it will be alright since you have mentioned the reality. If they query it you can provide the explanation.

Hi Guys

I had sent my FSW application on Aug 29 and it was received on Sept 4 , I just now realised that I had made a mistake in form i.e. I forgot to write name in native language.

Is there a way I can correct it or contact CIC to update about it ?

Thanks

It's not necessary to write name in native language. You will be fine.
