My daughter Received her Port of Entry letter couple weeks back but it doesn't seem to match what I expected for an IEC application. It mentions how She can work in Canada for 'up to four years cumulatively', and it has the code IMM 5812 at the bottom rather than IMM 5665, which is the correct code for an IEC POE letter I believe.

We were wondering if anyone would be able to clarify this. Can she take this letter to Border Security (with proof of funds, travel insurance documents) and tell them she is applying for an Open Work Permit under the IEC program without any problems? And a temporary travel visa will be issued at same time?
