When CIC requests a copy of the PA's passport, does that mean just the photo page or every single page of it?

It should specify in the email but usually for London it's just the photo page

actually, no, not EVERY other office besides london wants a copy of the complete passport. ottawa also only requests the bio page. for visa exempt applicants, that is all that is necessary. it is to confirm the applicant's information is still the same and the passport is still valid.

For London we just sent the page with the photo on and with my hubbies information. e.g date of birth , country born etc.Did you not send this in with your application ?

I did (I even took a picture of it in my completed application before I mailed it) but for some reason they asked me for it again? I am thinking maybe it got misplaced. I've sent it in again but as an afterthought I was wondering whether they meant EVERY SINGLE page, hence why I created this post.

my hubby was asked to send a complete copy of his passport but that was for New Delhi visa office. It was sent back in May 2014 however in July I was informed by my MP that they haven't received it. I ended up sending it 3 times and yet to receive a response.

My MP said there is a possibility NDVO might have misplaced as a lot of files do, unfortunately!

when a visa office requests the copy of the passport for visa exempt applicants, that generally means they are ready to issue the visa. as stated above, this is how they confirm your name hasn't changed or the passport is still valid for more than 6 mo.

has your status changed since sending it in? for ottawa, the copy of the passport will prompt the status to change to in process, then it will become decision made.

your profile says you sent in your app in august? have you gotten SA yet? if they are requesting it before SA, then maybe it was misplaced?

Yes, I haven't even received SA yet so I think it was just overlooked.
