Hello,

Hope someone can help me here. We got the COPR and now an interview is scheduled at IRCC office to complete the landing procedure (FYI - border office refused to do the landing procedure so had to schedule an appointment/interview). In the COPR papers we have received, there is something ( I am the secondary applicant) called last and original entry dates info in my COPR and both of them contain same date, but my wife's (primary applicant) COPR has these fields blank. Rest of the info in our COPR's is correct. Can someone please help me by answering these questions

1. What exactly is last and original entry dates? How does IRCC determine these dates? If this info is wrong, what are the problems and how it can affect us?
2. If there are mistake with these dates, will IRCC office still process our landing procedure during the scheduled interview?
3. Do I need to get them corrected before the scheduled interview with IRCC?

Thanks,
Sujith

It is based on your provided travel history. If it's wrong you can ask IRCC to have it corrected and re-issue CoPR, but it has almost no effect anyway because your last entry date will become the date you land when you land or flagpole. You can even ask the CBSA officer at the border

Thank you very much. So can we attend the interview at IRCC office and get this info corrected directly there ?

The officer at the border straight away said they don't entertain flagpole candidates and asked us to get the landing formalities done in IRCC office so couldn't even get this info corrected.

Rainbow bridge?

I don't think they will correct it, they will just ignore it. As I said the "last entry date" will become the date you land anyway. But you can always ask at the IRCC appointment

Thank you..yes it's rainbow bridge. So I assume the first entry date also has no impact to complete the landing procedure at IRCC office. Fingers crossed, I hope we don't face some trouble for this info at IRCC office.

Based on your comment I will directly hit the IRCC office without asking for any corrections now

Note sure about first entry date because it will not change, unlike last entry date. But I don't see how that affects the application or determining your status in Canada
