COPR Valid for 1 year from medical

Hi,

I tried searching but wasn't sure if this condition is still true.

Will my COPR be valid for 1 year after medical exam or until passport expiry whichever comes first?

I applied in January using the new application.

This is outland spousal sponsorship. Both sponsor and spouse are outside Canada.

Whichever comes first. However, it is not advisable to use a passport less than 1 year of expiry.
