Hello,

I have recieved COPR and Visa ( currently in Canada) getting married next month.
-Would I be able to add my spouse while coming back at the port of entry
I will email cic about my marriage.

Question.
1. Would I be authorized to work on my work permit while processing my spouse application?

2. Do I need to stay back home until my spouse application has been approved.

Spoke to cic agent but did not get any reasonable answer.

No you can't do that at the border.

You can either
1) Inform IRCC once you get married and provide relevant documents. Wait till IRCC issue you and your spouse new COPRs, then land.
2) Land before getting married and sponsor your spouse afterwards, which is going to be a lengthy process.
