CoPR- for wife seperately

Hi All,

I got my PPR. My wife is presently not in Canada and returning to Canada in two weeks.

Can I separately send my passport for stamping and send hers when she is in Canada? She is a dependent and not a co-applicant.

Think it would be safer to wait for hers since she is a dependent
