My wife and I are expired COPR's living outside Canada. We have not yet received email from IRCC to reissue our expired docs. Meanwhile, since my wife had an offer of admission, we applied for student pass for her and open work permit for me both of which were approved. I contacted the local IRCC office where we live to see if they can expedite reissuing our expired COPR's, but they told me that we can travel to Canada using the other visas we have got and they will later liaise with inland IRCC offices to arrange virtual landing for us. We are not sure what to do and we have to make a decision by the end of July. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Specifically, I am interested in knowing how long it may take for an arrangement of a virtual landing for expired COPR's who had been approved overseas.
