CoPR doc wrong city on it

Hey all,

I jsut received my CoPR. It states I will move to Calgary, AB. This is what I put on my application but things have changed recently and I'm either going to ON or SK.

I didn't expect the CoPR to have the city and province I put on my app on there. Am I expected to land in this city and Province now?

Or can I ignore it?

No - you're not expected to land in that province. Just ignore it. It won't be a problem.

Make sure they have the right address on file to send your PR card to.

I wont be landing until next APril, where I wont have an address in Canada. Was thinking about telling the IO when I land to send it to my sister in laws address. Would they be cool with that? The mailing address they have on file is in the UK.

yes, you can give them your sister in law's address at the landing. you must provide them with a canadian address. they will not sent it outside of canada.
