Hi,

I just received my CoPR and it only asked me for 2 pictures and to send a copy of my CoPR to the office and then received my PR card.

Are they going to ask for my passport still? I thought we have to send it before receiving the CoPR. I am currently in Canada.

Thanks!

looks like you are from a visa exempt country

If you are holder of passport(s) from countries whose citizens need an eTA to travel to Canada or a holder of passport(s) from the United States, you will need to submit one photocopy of the photo page and any pages containing amendments of the passport for you and for each accompanying family member. Please do not send your original passport(s). Your passport(s) should be valid for at least 6 months.

Inland applicants don’t get asked for passport. You just get issued the COPR doc, then use that to request your PR card. Congrats.

That's odd. I have a friend who is also a Brazilian and he applied inland but had to send his passport. But he got his PR 2 years ago.
