The exciting day of the COPR arrived with fear instead of jubilation as I only received a COPR for myself and not our two young dependent children.

Has anyone had a similar issue before? I've sent an urgent message, but they say it can take up to 20 days to respond.

A few concerns from earlier in the process make me think they might not be on the application at all:

received letter requesting all listed dependents birth certs documentation - which we provided. so essentially sent our kids birth docs twice
a random refund of $300 sent to us earlier this year that we could not get any clarification on despite sending messages.
no requests for the kids to complete medicals despite me getting one and completing it.
I've sent messages to Immi each time there was a concern but never get answers.

If there is a glitch and I have somehow completed PR for only myself, does anyone know how long it will take to now sponsor the kids whilst residing in Canada?

From the sounds of it, IRCC determined that your children are Canadian citizens and refunded the 2 x $150 dependent fees. Were they born abroad to a Canadian citizen?

Yes they were born in Australia to a Canadian citizen (wife). But they have Australian passports and birth certificates. Does that mean they can apply directly for citizenship here? They are 2 and 3 years old.

They are Canadian citizens. You need to apply ASAP for their Certificates of Citizenship.
