I was wondering if I can get some help with the following situation.
I received my E CoPR on May 20th, and my first name was misspelled by one letter.
After checking all the documents, my name was correct on EE profile submission confirmation, ITA confirmation, AOR confirmation, etc, and the only time it was wrong was on the E-CoPR.
What's more, I noticed that the name in APPLICANT INFO in the GC Key became incorrect in all applications (even the past ones for my work permits). I think this is due to the finalization of the application that somebody has inadvertently changed my name associated with the UCI.
Contacted IRCC via email and webforms no updates. Call center agent asked to send in an COPR amendment form to Ottawa.
Questions are:
1. If the spelling name on PR card is also wrong, how do I prove PR status?
2. Can I travel outside Canada with the PR Card with misspelled first name?
3. Current processing time is 44 weeks, and a paper application, what if IRCC just doesn't correct the name? What to do in this case?
