We are going to send our application today!. which is great but:

Do we need to provide copies of all the forms with the originals?

We did two copies of every form / travel document / evidence of relationship - everything.... and was wondering if it was necessary to send them all to the processing office.?

Please help.

Rob

hm.. i sense confusion here. you only need to submit the ORIGINAL forms, completed & signed everywhere (make sure they're not outdated).

no need to send 2 copies of each form. for your peace of mind, you can have a copy of each one of them and keep them with you (in case CIC loses some stuff.. hopefully not).

the rest of the evidence - same, don't send 2 copies. one is enough. just make sure it's good proof. the copies keep them to yourself.

yeah i'm confused why 2 copies of everything would be submitted? Follow the checklist. If it's not mentioned on the check list, or doesn't fall into your "relationship proof" category, then don't send it. ONLY send copies of the items the checklist specifically asks for copies of (ie: passport/identity documents, marriage certificate, etc). REmember the Option C form must be original.
Only 1 copy of each application form, with original signatures, is needed. If the form doesn't pertain to you, then it's not necessary to include it, just mark the CHECKLIST with a n/a.

Making a copy for your OWN records is a great idea for sure.
