Hello,
I'll be applying my PGWP in April 2024. I came to Canada in 2022 with a 3year program(6 semesters) with additional 2optional COOP, in my study/coop work permit(valid untill end of 2024). After completing 2-coops=8months in 2023, I converted to the 2year program of the same course, that didn't have coop and had 4semesters, so my 4th/final semester was supposed to be Dec 2023. But I failed and had to retake one course in Jan 2024 as Part-time.
Now, under this 2year program time frame. Am worried whether:
1. As 150 days break is allowed so, 1 out of 2coops(4 months)+1retake(4months)= 8months , or
2. 2coops(8months)+1 retake(4months)=1 year
either way will it be considered as an unauthorised break over 150days by the IRCC?
Provided, I've my documents supporting I was full time student during those 8months doing coop as part of my initial program and the retake course in order to fullfill program credits.
