During the process of transmiting documents for my temporary visa application i had to submit my Police certificate from australia and get surprise when realising that something was mention on it. It appear being relative to trepassing an area with my vehicle that i was unaware of it. After leaving Australia as my visa ended i receving a prosecution notice to court and infringment notice with now the folowing mention on my Police certificate from australia:

This is certify that the following disclosable court outcomes are recoreded against [my name]
OffenceCourt Result
"Unlawfully Entered An Area Of Land On Which Water Service Works Of A Licensee Were Located And Was Not Open To The Public" Fine: $600

In relation i receive this letter from Canadian Immigration agent:
You have indicated "No" to the following statutory question "Have you ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?:
There is information on file that indicates that you have not answered this question truthfully.

My concern is i was no aware about this case by the time i was answering the question above and wondering what should i explain to Canada Immigration Agent to defend an maintain my application.

Thanks in advance to everyone who will read me.
Cheers
