conventional refugee

hello..--does anyone know if conventional refugees that are in process for permanent resident....can leave canada.just for couple days...5-8 days...not for travel in they homecountry ..but for instance some other state.........is there some document for that...................

If you need to travel outside Canada apply for a refugee travel document from passport canada. It will allow travel with necessary visas to anywhere other than your home country.

Bear in mind that if you travel at this time you could miss a notice requiring you to attend for an interview, landing etc.

It is most strongly advised that you stay in Canada until you are landed and then travel, but never - ever travel, enter the country against which you were granted protection against since this could result in your protection being cessated.

thanks...but i just find out that processing times for travel document is several months which is..well not good...what that meant...5 months...2 months......is anybody before applied for travel document and what is really waiting time.......
